Weekly Moving Recap: January 19–24, 2026
Specialty Appliance, Residential, Commercial & Long-Distance Moves
From January 19 through January 24, 2026, Ferrick Brothers Moving completed a variety of specialty appliance deliveries, residential moves, commercial life sciences projects, assisted living relocations, and long-distance deliveries, serving communities throughout Massachusetts, Vermont, and beyond. This week highlighted our ability to coordinate complex logistics, handle oversized and sensitive equipment, and complete challenging moves on time.
January 19, 2026
The week began with a specialty appliance delivery supporting a new housing development in Newbury, MA. Two crews arrived at 6:00 a.m. in Salisbury, MA to load seven Sub-Zero refrigeration units. The delivery to Newbury was completed on schedule by 7:30 a.m. Crews then spent the remainder of the day unloading, staging, and responsibly disposing of boxes and packing materials, returning to Groveland and finishing just before 4:00 p.m.
January 20, 2026
Crew one completed a three-bedroom apartment move from Haverhill, MA (Duncan Street), located on the 8th floor of a mill-style building. Due to long hallways and elevator access, loading required extra care and time. Delivery was made to a single-family home in Boxford, MA, where unloading took significantly less time. Despite the complexity, the entire move was completed in 8.5 hours, well within the original 8–10 hour estimate, and the client was extremely pleased.
Crew two completed a prep and loading day at our Haverhill warehouse, staging a shipment for long-distance delivery to Burlington, Vermont.
January 21, 2026
With a 4:00 a.m. start, crew two departed for Burlington, VT, while crew one finished loading remaining items in Haverhill and departed by 7:00 a.m. Crew two began unloading around 7:30 a.m., and crew one arrived at approximately 10:30 a.m. Together, both crews completed delivery by 12:30 p.m., followed by a walkthrough to ensure everything was in place. Crews returned to Haverhill just before 5:00 p.m., completing approximately 30 combined crew hours for the Vermont job, in addition to the previous day’s residential move.
January 22, 2026
One three-person crew handled a commercial life sciences delivery, transporting four biosafety cabinets from a reseller on Western Avenue in Haverhill, MA to a Cambridge, MA research facility. Each cabinet measured approximately six feet and required careful handling in tight, urban conditions. The delivery took approximately nine hours total, including travel and on-site placement. While technically challenging due to limited space, the job was completed smoothly and safely.
January 23, 2026
Crew one completed a small apartment move before returning to the warehouse to organize trucks, inspect safety equipment, and prepare for upcoming moves.
Crew two handled an assisted living relocation from Newburyport, MA to Groveland, MA, including partial packing services. Crews arrived at 7:20 a.m., packed three rooms, completed delivery to the assisted living facility by 3:45 p.m., and returned to the Haverhill warehouse shortly after 4:00 p.m.
January 24, 2026
This day was reserved for scheduled fleet and equipment maintenance, ensuring trucks and moving equipment remained in top condition for future residential and commercial moves.
